Occurs to me this morning that I can discuss why the lotus or half-lotus in terms of practice and verification:

Practice and verification, to me: realize the activity necessary to the movement of breath in the movement of breath, and realize activity precipitated by the place of occurrence of consciousness in the occurrence of consciousness.
This morning my practice consisted of activity in the sartorius and gluteus muscles that rotates the pelvis on the hips, and activity in the piriformis muscles that rotates the sacrum opposite to the pelvis. Sartorius from below the knee to the wings of the pelvis

I appreciate your remarks.
I had the great pleasure of having a professor who was delighted with mathematics, Gerhard Ringel Sr., who has one of the important theorems in combinatorics named after him. What I got from him was that he was an appreciator of natural beauty, first and foremost, and mathematics to him was a way to come to know a particular aspect of the beauty of nature.
