"Reverse breathing: the ilio-lumbars engage in the movement of breath" is an illustration of the engagement of the ilio-lumbar ligaments in the movement of breath through an experience of distinction of the senses, in particular distinction of the sense of equalibrium (represented by the gyroscopic orb), of the sense of proprioception, and of the sense of gravity. A visual parallel is drawn with an illustration from the temple of Rameses in Luxor, Egypt.
